reflect 3/18
I think that this book was very well written and interesting, because it showed an inside look in what happened at a real, well-known death camp through the eyes of a prisoner. Even though it was a ruff story in the camps, I personally think the worst part of all of it would have been travelling in the cattle boxcars to get to what ever camp was your final destination. Some other the little things to live weren't given to them over only a couple days and it shows how much those little things really mean and matter and that we need, just tot live our daily lives.

Part II
Auschwitz
1.3 million worked there
(2.5 million gassed, and 500,000 from disease and
starvation) died there
Poland
Sent there to work and to get killed
one of the worst
unbearable, not livable conditions
Part I
I think that Elie's relationship with his father is still
pretty strong, I just think he was always upset with his father, because his
father only wanted him to study a certain part of his religion when, Elie
always wanted to study everything there was to know about it. "Don't talk like that, father." (75) He cares for his father very much, but doesn't want his father to give him his last belongs, becuase Elie still has hope and his father has lost it and is ready to give up.

part I
She warned people of the fires and violence to come on the train and they beat her so, she would shut up. They ignore her and don't believe the fate that's to come. "She is mad, poor woman..."(25)
part II
the "golden Crown" was Elie's golden tooth and when it wasn't taken from him it gave him hope for the time being. It made Elie feel a tiny bit safer and that maybe he would make it through this terrible time. later on in the book it is taken from him, its taken out by another person with a rusty old spoon.

Reflection
I prolly need to improve on everything, that were in those parenthesis... Unfortunately I'm just trying to coast and get through til I finish up. Specifically, I think my attendance has been okay, my effort has been minimal, my attitude has being not very positive to say the least, my completing assignments has been decent besides missing one, my direction following is terrible and last but not least I don't study..I think I did decent on the narratives and not so good on the scholarships. I honestly don't think I've looked at it or even know about it ( that goes along with me not following the directions and not listening and sometimes zoning.) yes, I follow miss spriggs as of 3/4/2013 at 8:17 a.m.

10 vocab words
Ninja are very adroit, not only were they Japanese, but they were Buddhist which is a religion that requires much self-control.
They are also amicable and the first ninjas were farmers, by day and "ninjas" my night.
During the day these " ninjas" were hard working rice patty farmers, but by night they were belligerent ninjas.
Ninjas were like the benevolent robin hoods of there time and protected there people from unfair governments.
The farmers worked very hard during the long days, which made them build up certain muscles and when the farmers started becoming ninjas they were very cursory and quick moving.
Duplicity was a common trait among the "ninjas," but only because they were formed into this by the unfair and hard ways of their own government.
The common people extolled the ninjas, because they would help to change things for them.
The ninjas wanted to make it feasible for the common person to live a more comfortable life style.
The reason ninjas worn masks was to hide there grimace looking faces.
When the ninjas government wasn't satisfied with the work they were doing, by day they would send soldiers to create holocausts and torturer the people.
