Police are usually affiliated with the law, whether the are on or off or even under-cover.  

They are usually trying to do something or ascertain something. 

When they finally achieve attainment, there job is to just write a report about it. 

Some police are more cogent than others and some times get into trouble, because of it.

Many police are regarded as very esteem and they make good decisions.

If you get arrested, by the police and you are the one they arrest your later going to attempt to get your record expunged. 

Even the police are finite and have bounds, they aren't supermen as much as they would like to be and act like they are.

Although many people that the police deal with think that they are invulnerable.

Police are usually very malevolent and determined to get the suspect.  

Some police though, are very nonchalant and laid back.

Its 11: 30 P.M, I am very tired and feel extremely sick and weak. I haven't eaten in three days and only have had a pint of water. It is very cold, but I can't light a fire, for the Gestapo will see it and check it out. Even as I complain about all these things that I need to just barely survive, the one true thing that I'm missing and that my heart yearns for is my beloved piano  or any piano for that matter, just so I can pretend to play the sweet, soft, ivory keys. As I sit in this room on the fifth floor in this building freezing, I finally crack and get out of bed to look for food, even though I know there is nothing there. I first look in all the cabinets and then I look in the the shelf above the sink and as i open it a hinge breaks, all the plates and bowls filled with absolutely nothing come crashing out and break into a million pieces on the cold, dank wood floors. At that moment I hear a loud scream and start to panic. Not knowing what to do or who's out in front of my door I answer it because i hear a loud knock. i walk out to a heavy set blonde that is pro Nazi yelling and demanding questions from me. When she finally asks for my I.D i stale until the last second then dash off into the cold snowy night.

book/movie #2

A lot of bad things go on in the film, from the time that the movie starts til it has ended there is a complete 180 degree change. Every character in the movie is a human and some of the ways these other humans were treated by humans is terrible, from being sent to work/ death camps to being killed on spot in the street out in front of there home, to having to hide and run and be treated how the slaves were just to barely survive and evade hunger. Yes, this film attempts to break away from the theme through the interactions of the main character getting helped a lot from others that were/ weren't his kind and him coping with the terrible situation by using music ( the piano) and having a discipline and reserved attitude. Yes, the film does show that there were good non-Jewish Germans that did want to help and did help. In the book, the Jews seemed alone but in the movie it was like around every bad corner there always seemed to be a little light of help.

Book/movie #1

There families are very similar, because they are very close to each other and are very into their religions, which is Judaism. Each character knows what they want to do in life and what they like and they are determined and set on what they want. One likes pianos and the other likes learning all parts of Judaism. Even when times get rough and there's no hope they hang in there and some how get through it. They both experience bad times and hardship but in different ways and at different times and being different ages. The pianist for instants doesn't go to a camp right away, he travels and without his family or anyone and he lives from what others trying to help him provide for him and in night he is taken to a camp and that's a lot of the book but he does have his father there.

I think that this book was very well written and interesting, because it showed an inside look in what happened at a real, well-known death camp through the eyes of a prisoner. Even though it was a ruff story in the camps, I personally think the worst part of all of it would have been travelling in the cattle boxcars to get to what ever camp was your final destination. Some other the little things to live weren't given to them over only a couple days and it shows how much those little things really mean and matter and that we need, just tot live our daily lives.

I think that Elie's relationship with his father is still pretty strong, I just think he was always upset with his father, because his father only wanted him to study a certain part of his religion when, Elie always wanted to study everything there was to know about it. "Don't talk like that, father." (75) He cares for his father very much, but doesn't want his father to give him his last belongs, becuase Elie still has hope and his father has lost it and is ready to give up.

She warned people of the fires and violence to come on the train and they beat her so, she would shut up. They ignore her and don't believe the fate that's to come. "She is mad, poor woman..."(25)



part II

the "golden Crown" was Elie's golden tooth and when it wasn't taken from him it gave him hope for the time being. It made Elie feel a tiny bit safer and that maybe he would make it through this terrible time. later on in the book it is taken from him, its taken out by another person with a rusty old spoon.
